I had a lovely FB discussion with a friend yesterday in which we fantasized about a new single being the news, but that's doubtful.

And I don't subscribe to the site, for presale or otherwise. I just can't afford $50 a year especially in non-touring years.

Ditto. I think I subscribed once, and I got the cd version of ZooTV Sydney for it.

I admit, I felt kinda ripped off....

Don't worry baby, it's gonna be all right. Uncertainty can be a guiding light...

I don't know, this time makes sense to me. East Coast fans (all the way down, including South America) are out of work and it's 11:30 in Western Europe, ie nobody's at work and many people are still awake. Releasing when it's 6:30 in Ireland means its the middle of the work day for the entire Western Hemisphere, which is not very desirable.

Hooray, new song! AND the Mandela trailer is running before screenings of 12 Years a Slave- double whammy for Cumberbatch/U2 fans!

Excited for new U2 music, but need to hear the whole song. I've actually had that cover they did this year, This Is, stuck in my head all day, so right now I'm more into that one.

Must've been before I was here. Hubby & I lurked here during Vertigo (we'd read for news/gossip/etc) ....but I didn't actually make an account until much later.

I remember printing stuff out while using school computers for bands like BSB back in the day, during like, my high school and early college years. Because even though I had a desktop at home, I wasn't permitted to have an internet connection.

Fun day today- went through somebody's vinyl collection and came home with a bunch of great classic records and some massive old speakers to play them through. Didn't find any vintage U2, but only got through about half the collection so there may be some in there. Preparing to blow my kids' minds with Hendrix, Beatles and the Who.

Yes!

But only in that film!

When he's not Russell Hammond, he is completely unattractive.
