Oh EYKIW! Apparently we're now getting bitched at for laughing at people who form an opinion on the upcoming album based on Adam's quotes. Yeah, uh, you haven't heard a single song yet, so if you're bitching, I'm laughing!

Bought a boxy early 90s Volvo sedan today. I feel like I've finally graduated into the spectacle-wearing New England feminist hippie I always knew that I really was inside. And baby, does it feel good.

There isn't, because I've never been able to shake the feeling that Thoreau was a big poser. Just can't love him, or even be all that interested. But in the hippie spirit, this is what I'm listening to tonight. Holy eargasm city.

I am too (or at least, have my dad build it )... but I have no place for it.

It can be ridiculously satifsying to look at the downpour outside, then realising you have a big report due so you don't have to go outside at all today.

Depends. Did you see the interview from Adam late last week? That's about it from the band front, but maybe someone else has really exciting personal drama?

Really exciting personal drama just to satisfy ClaytonsKitten's desire for news:

~My new haircut rocks all forms of ass.

~I drove my husband's car to work today because he's home with the kids and he's got some seriously good shit on his ipod. I pulled into the parking lot today rocking to "Touch".

~I made a mean spinach florentine rigatoni last night.

~My best friend is getting divorced because she found a drawer full of $1,100 of used porn star underwear in her husband's dresser.

Hell's bells--"really exciting" sure is arbitrary...

Is it the one at the radio station where he said new album early next spring? I haven't actually -heard- it, but I know the gist of it.

Now, used underwear is a peculiar kink. You could have quite a few live-in-person experiences for eleven hundred dollars. I'm sorry for your friend, though.

I'm in need of a haircut that rocks some ass. The chicks in my local salons have no sense of style at all.

I always go to Hair Cuttery and I've never once been dissatisfied. Cheap and cheerful!

The only "cheap" place around here is Great Clips, and they still run $15-$20 for an adult cut plus tip. And the last time they did my hair, the girl was horrid, spent more time yakking to the lady next to her than on me, and chopped it about 2 inches shorter than I wanted.

I'll just wait until next month when hubby's overtime kicks in again and we start to earn extra cash.

Confession: After years of espousing my loathing of Arcade Fire, I really like the first single off the new album.

Damn me.
