Just realised I forgot to pack: My sleeping bag. And my ski pants.

Thank fuck I made a list I can check things off. This would've been seriously stupid. But holy crap this ain't gonna fit. :scream:

Have fun. We'll miss you!

LOL, yeah, it's funny the most simple of things we forget sometimes, huh :p?
Smart move making a list, though.

My family's gotten pretty adept at figuring out how to squeeze things into places they normally shouldn't fit into over the years. And if we can't get it, we just awkwardly carry it around and do a delicate balancing act :D.

Hehe. No argument, I understand the appeal :).

 Teach me, please!

I'm afraid it's going to have to be a second bag for me. There's just no frickin' way this will fit.

had to snag a few from the B&E<3 Thread which I didn't realize was running again!

comet!

and  your NJ GS close-ups! :applaud:

I'm a pro at packing. If I lived closer to you, I'd totally help ya out, GG. :) I've become such an expert that I can fit everything I need into one carry-on sized suitcase, even if I'm going away for a few weeks.

Thanks for the offer. You've seen my suitcase this summer, right? Well I'm taking the same one. I had seas of space left in the summer, now it won't fit. Darn winter clothes.

I am giving up for the night. Tomorrow I'll figure out I'll throw my sleeping bag, pillow and blanket in a separate bag and to hell with it.

 G'nite guys. Maybe I'll check back in tomorrow, if I can't make it, I'll miss you all. See ya the 12th! :D

No, I never saw your suitcase in Montreal. :) I was staying in a totally different hotel, and I only stopped by the lobby of your guys's place once. :D

But yes, that does make sense. Winter clothes are a lot thicker than summer ones!

Have a wonderful time!

GG, have a good trip
Thora, hope the 2nd (better) job pans out for you. But even if it doesn't, it seems your luck may have changed and things are starting to look up

I need a little of this right now

Thanks! It definitely seems that way, which is encouraging. Hopefully I'll get a phone call tomorrow! :)

Mmm... I ALWAYS like a little of that.

Hope your night improves!

Zoooooooooooeeeeeeeyyyyyyyyyyy!!!! Are we finally here at the same time?

And you want hugs? I'll give you hugs!:hug::hug:

I don't necessarily need hugs (Mr.Z mis-interpreted my mood too, bless his heart). I do need a couple extra hours and a personal assistant.

I'm having one of those "I just can't do it all" days. Work, mentoring, workouts, fellowship application, mom, wife... ya know...?

:hug::hug: The more hugs the better.

Personal assistant, eh? :hmm:

*sends over a sexy Irishman*

And I feel ya. I really do. I had one of those days earlier this week. Sinus issues coupled with being 36 1/2 weeks pregnant = hormonal meltdown. I'm finally starting to feel better after almost 3 straight days of sinus problems, so now it's just dealing with the end-of-pregnancy exhaustion. Which of course is warring with my mental need to DO EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW.

For now though, it's time to call it a day, watch some Jon Stewart, and head for bed.

Drawing teacher hated my drawing. In retaliation to that it's above the chair in my living room (a pretty darn good spot for me to put artwork).

I can't believe the amount of sugar and caffeine that was needed to get me through that class...and yet I'm hungry. Wtf?

 Teach me, please!

I wish I could! Maybe someday :p.

I'm late in this, but hopefully you can see it before you leave-either way, have a safe, fun trip, GG! As stated, we'll miss you, but we'll hold down the fort while you're gone .

Katie, aw, that sucks about your teacher. This is what I always hated about art class, everything's got to be up to some sort of specific standard or something. It's art. It's not meant to be graded that way.

Hopefully your teacher will like another piece of your work. I think it all looks fantastic, myself.

 to everyone coming/going/heading to bed-hello/goodbye/sweet dreams, all that sort of good stuff :p.

 Sounds oh-so-fun. You are further convincing me of my reasoning to hold off on kids for a while. God love 'em, but I can wait on having to deal with all that stress.

It'll all be worth it soon, though :). And I'm glad you're starting to feel a bit better.

Sounds like a good way to end the day. Hope you get some good rest in.

Woo to your mention of Jon Stewart . His show's been kicking all sorts of ass lately in particular-the segment with Aasif Mandvi tonight was AWESOME.

And then there's Stephen Colbert right afterward (aka, the man who's on my shortlist of potential future husbands ). Between those two and Craig, late night's a pretty good time TV-wise (for me, anyway).

On the plus side, someone found a way to interpret the project in a way that made them collage someone's face out of porn...the teacher's reaction was hilarious.

I love/hate/love art school

The teacher actually commented on it for a long time. Which was funny. I was debating with my friend whether it was bc he wanted to watch the porn, or was trying to convince himself it was art...

Zu—Sometime around the weekend...looks interesting :)

And that reminds me, someone's doing one of their art history senior thesis's on Robert Mapplethorpe's work  So much squee.
