tried to put some files on my external hard drive that holds allllll my pics from the last 6 years. But a couple weeks ago the cat knocked it off my desk and now my computer isn't recognizing it.
I can't friggin' win!!!

Unexpected day off
My little guy is sick. Not throwing up - just not feeling like getting out of bed. Throws a wrench in some plans but now I can wash my car, and probably go to the grocery store.

okay - I successfully downloaded a wmv file of FTSD but, like I said, the vlc player isn't working on my "ancient" mac. Any suggestions? I used to have a flip for mac program that would change the format of certain files but I got rid of it to make room for the damned movie!

This is just for downloading torrents, right? Not for playing them, right? I seem to recall using Azureus to download audio torrents before. I've never successfully downloaded a vid torrent.

Yes , its for downloading and searching torrents only. It has a small built in player for easy to read files like avi. But things like Xvid .TS or .DVD formats can not be played.

Yeah, you can do both. And you can play videos on it. It's the only way I got my Manray torrent to work.

Work is fucking insane. To the extent that by the time Friday rolled around, I felt like I was going to lose it. Then today, it's right back into the insanity.Something's gotta give. I should have stayed late today, but I just couldn't be there for another minute, so I left fairly close to quitting time. And today, with everything that's going on, I got an email booking time for my 6 month review tomorrow.
Couldn't have come at a worse time. I'm really not in a great head space as far as work goes these days, and I'm not even sure what to say tomorrow...
Also, got to see FTSD yesterday thanks to JJAsi's link - thank you for that! DLed and burned so I could watch it on my tv. Enjoyed it a lot. And I LOVE Jack White's LIB, very interesting take on it.
