okay okay- this hasn't the slightest connection to u2- well actually, in the early days, Bono liked to sing snippets of "light my fire" anyhoo- a few days ago, i posted something about Jim Morrison and was quite happy when someone responded and said he was cool( cause he is!!

Jim was #1 in my mind. Man, I think I listened to the Doors nonstop from 7th grade through high school. I had Doors posters, books, CD's, patches, stickers, you name it.
They have taken a major backseat to U2.

Confession time: I frequently use the Door as a sort of meditation music...I put on their music and just listen and lose myself in it...it really does take me to another place, sort of altered consciousness minus the drugs. It's pretty damn cool!

I love the Doors!!!
When I was little my mom used to play the Doors and I would get on my rocking horse and "rock out" to the music. LOL! She actually has pictures of this.
