I've been looking back through PLEBA and I can't find any old caption threads. I know u2captions.com is under construction but can I see any other captions anywhere? There may be other fans out here who are think the same thing so if anyone knows can you please post here.

About this website... When the caption thread resurfaced I found it so hilarious I had planned making a 'book' out of it, in a pdf format so I did my best to save the whole threads before the pics changed to red X. Unfortunately my hd crashed down before I had time to do this book; however there's a change I may get my old data back one day.
So if you want these old captions just let me know!

Just in case anyone's interested in boring updates: I've compiled all of the caps from just one of the threads that I listed in my previous post. This has turned out to be over 80 megs in size (and yes I have dial-up), and I still need to have it organized. It truly is turning into a labor of love. We're planning on putting up a few dozen or so captions in the near future - I think we are, anyway, just so appetites can be whetted, and then finding a way to have all of them listed (and credit given wherever possible).

I'd love to make a book and give it to the boys - I think they'd get a kick out of it. But, since there are so many good ones now, it'd be a really big book - so a website seemed like a good place to get things organized, and who knows? Maybe a book will be published someday. But probably not anytime soon.

That is really sad!!! There was quite a few of mine in those old caption threads (and may I brag that they were great), I since have stepped aside and enjoyed everyone elses...I really hope that you manage to create that Caption Website and I would be happy to contribute!
