I was listening to "Foxy Lady" by Jimmy Hendrix the other day and I started to laugh uncontrollably when I thought to myself...
Hmmm, Maybe high-school age Bono and Edge were like Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World but Irish?
Bono is the dark haired outgoing guy and Edge is the cute slightly nerdy tech wizard.

Just picture it...
1) Edge dancing to "Foxy Lady" and doing the little "foxy" ear moves and everything
2) That scene on the hood of Wayne's Car..
Garth: Hey Wayne?
Wayne: Yeah Garth?
Garth: Did you ever find Bugs Bunny attractive when He dressed up like a girl bunny?
Wayne: *bursts out laughing* No.
Garth: Yeah me neither, just wondering...
3) When Garth triangulates the limo's position and then says "it was almost too easy"...

OMG can you believe I left the house today? Other than church. We went to Best Buy and Circuit City.
1. Usually Circuit City (which is so much closer to home) has nothing. No selection, like 1 CD from each person
2. well today Best Buy didn't have what I wanted, and we had gone aaaaalllll the way out there and ended up just coming to CC which is about a foot away from my house.

Anyway here I am BACK again and I just snorted cheese up my brain when I read the Baberaham Lincoln thing.

Can you imagine our little lusty leprechauns with their own basment tv show too? lol! *Bono holds up bag of Doritos and grinnnns*

I love Wayne's World... I can just see Edge offering up a little paper cup to one of the techies:

"hey, if you're gonna spew, spew in this."

And the cup's, what... two inches tall? LOL!

The whole scene with Bohemian Rhapsody gets me every time. Thinking of Bono and Edge lip syncing to it... (wiping away tears of mirth, here) and then the end, where Edgegarth doesn't quite know the rest of the lyrics, so he kind of mumbles them. AAAAHHHH! I need to go watch that movie, too...

hey, wait a sec... There's that one scene with Garth playing the drums and looking pretty sexy doing it... Hmmm.... maybe a Larry connection???? Edge *did* try to play Larry's drums during one of their video shoots... Yes! I so ROCK! Woo HOOO!

OMG. Funny you should mention this. I went to see Wayne's World to pass the time the very day I went to the Zoo TV show. I wound up writing all kinds of EdgeGarth stories afterwards! (Edge's 1971 bug was the Mirthmobile!) I didn't post them here because I was too embarassed, but I guess I wasn't too far off the mark! LOL!
