my paint-a-thon

I've taken as long as a month to finish a painting. I can't believe I just finished a painting after only two days! I worked on that thing for seven hours today (thank God I didn't have to work). It's a tribute to the victims of the Istanbul bombings. I'll post a pic of it when my dad comes back with his digital camera Wednesday! Oh, yeah, I was watching MuchMusic's U2 Elevation coverage on tape. I watched the tape about a million times especially the MW and EBTTRT videos.

I have periods when I paint alot and periods when I don't. Sometimes when I'm not working at the library or whatever I make costumes and such. I did this picture because I felt so bad about the terrorist bombings in Istanbul. I have an Istanbul museum picture as my avatar now. I think I'll soon be posting pix of Bono making the peace sign.
