I've never seen that interview, but does it have to do with the song being about an affair one of the band members had with a fan? (<---Did you see that run on sentence? If my past English teachers read that, they would apply for a sabatical.

Emily, I heard the same thing too... there is a meaning of lyrics site (I'll have to hunt it down), where they say that Larry said some member (not naming names) had an affair. The song was about the affair ending.
