Do any of you remember seeing a PSA (public service announcement) for helmet safety featuring Larry?

I think it aired during the R&H era and it featured Larry playing a chromed out kit sitting up behind a Harley. A single lightbulb lights the space.

Larry's voice plays over the video as he plays the drums. I dont remember what he says exactly, but he finishes the bit by saying something about how a helmet will keep you from "...getting shredded"

Just as he says "shredded" he obliterates the light bulb with his drumstick - little embers and glass fly everywhere and the screen goes black.

Anyone remember this? Know if it's online somewhere???

OMG! Someone else remembers this! Thank you for posting! I don't remember any more than you do - Larry playing drums behind a Harley, isn't there a shot of him on the Harley? then smashing the single light bulb with the stick, "blah blah blah....getting shredded"

Someone must have taped it and hopefully one day it will appear on youtube.

As soon as I saw the thread title I knew immediately what it was about. My friend told me she had seen it on Mtv late one night (this was 1992) and tried taping it for me, but we got very little.

You'd think it'd have shown up somewhere by now...
