Is she or is she not? :eyebrow:

I mean her last name 'Steinberg' seems to be and Edge's and her children, Sian and Levi, also have Jewish names.......

I've never heard it official, though.....

Does anyone know how her name is pronounced?? Is it "Mor-lay" or "Mor-lee"?

Always been curious about that. Dunno why.

sian isn't jewish, i don't think. levi is, but i know a few ppl named levi who aren't jewish. i don't know though...

Levi is a biblical name ... most (but not all) people I have known with that name have been Jewish.

I am guessing with a last name like Steinberg, Morleigh has some sort of a Jewish heritage ... whether she is a practicing Jew is another issue.

Pretty sure it's "Mor-lee." My best friend's middle name is Leigh, pronounce Lee, so...Yeah, that's what I think.

HMMMM....I believe I asked this very same question already:

I have a question: what kind of name is "Morleigh"??? Her last name is Steinberg...so is Morleigh Jewish? Irish? English? Anyone know what the meaning is behind it? I'm just curious, it's such an unusual name (as was Aislinn, but she was obviously Irish).

okay I think I found something:

Quote:
M?R f Scottish, Irish
"great" (Gaelic). It is sometimes translated into English as SARAH.

SARAH f English, French, Biblical
"lady" or "princess" (Hebrew). This was the name of the wife of Abraham in the Old Testament. She became the mother of Isaac at the age of 90. Her name was originally Sarai, but God changed it (see Genesis 17:15).

LEIGH f English
From a surname derived from Old English leah or Middle English legh, which mean "meadow".

-----

she's the Great Meadow Princess! or Great Lady of the Meadow?

:) :edge:

someone responded that Morleigh has relatives in Israel....
