I'm curious... how would you describe U2 to a deaf person? What would you say? What would you show them?

I'm just wondering... because my biggest fear is drowning to death... the other is going deaf.

Hmmmm....interesting. Well, first of all thank God that you've been able to hear U2 so far! As for describing them to a deaf person...I couldn't I wouldn't know how...maybe I'd show them some of the music vids cause those have some great imagery, but U2 is an auditory sensation there would be no way to translate...

One of the best slow-dancers I ever met was deaf. Don't forget sound is a vibration--remember what it felt like standing at the rail during an Elevation show when a bass-heavy song came on? Thrummmmmmmmm..... in your chest.

What would I do? Put in the Rattle & Hum video and turn it UP.

Of course the bass is the way to go, when it comes to sharing their music with those who can't use their ears!

We should all now realize the power of Adam's instrument...And his bass! He reaches out to everyone, and touches us all...way down deep inside.

Excuse me...I need to pause for a moment....

Whew....ok, back. Let's all respect the bass...and Adam, I need those pants!
