Condensed from Cinecon.com:

Is it true that Cameron Crowe played music while taping a scene? (in Vanilla Sky)

He always did. It started on Jerry Macguire with me; that was the first picture.
Cameron is a musician also. He's a writer, a musician, a filmmaker and we
just started playing around one day and he just had music. As an actor you
just let it wash over you and see what color it's going to bring to the scene. He
also does stuff where we're going along and he'll throw out lines at me, it feels
like a workshop when we're working. Everybody is very comfortable and
relaxed and there was a lot of focus on the scene and everyone kind of
contributes. It helps the actors and sometimes you get different ideas and
colors. For this movie we listened to Kid A a lot and to the U2 album. The
Icelandic group (Sigur Ros) too. Of course, the Stones and Bruce Springsteen
but a lot of Kid A. Walking through New York I think of U2 and I think of
Radiohead.

OK-even after the whole Nicole thing, I admit-I still think he's so hot..* enjoys looking at him for sure*

Dang it-I should have invited him to go to an Elevation show w/ me.

Because of Nicole, Tom became 'our Tom' here in Australia. He isnt anymore.
They own a home in Sydney and would spend a lot of time here.
He's due back in town in the coming week I think for the premiere of Vanilla Sky and is bringing Penelope Cruz with him.
Nicole has had a lot of support here since they spilt and I wouldnt be surprised if he is booed in the streets.

Agree 100 percent-I truly admire Nicole too.

I was completely disillusioned by that whole thing. Wow-I wonder what will happen in Australia.

I still can't help but admire his looks though-esp. after having a 'thing' for him for so long.

Guys will be guys, after all, even Tom.

Oh well-one redeeming quality-he is ACTUALLY a U2 fan, believe it or not.

not to get too serious, but i disagree with the "guys will be guys" comment. I don't think that's fair to say! I hate when people make generalizations about women, so I also try to stick up for men when generalizations are made about them. so that's all i need to say, i've done my duty to stick up for them and everyone can read and agree or ignore as they wish. done.
