Well, I talked to my parents about seeing a dock, but they said that I dont need to. Because I'm not fat. They said I am "big boned." Does anybody think 138 pounds is overwieght, since I cant go see a dock or anybody about it. My brother says that I'm perfect wieght cause I'm 5ft 4in and 138 pounds. But I need to know if its the truth, if I am or not.

You're brother's right. For average height, 138 is just about right. <Mom mode>It's important to exercise and eat well anyway though. Lots of ppl think you only need to do that if you're overweight. :D </Mom mode>

And don't forget, all 15 yo think they're fat, believe me. They think, "I'm so fat, no guy will ever like me" and that becomes a source of concern. But really, a guy who won't like you cuz ur "fat" is not worth worrying about! I know this used to bug me when I was 15, but now I'm over it, and people do get over body image problems. I know, I know, it's difficult to in this society that sets up these unreal ideals and flaunts its soft porn images everywhere on film clips, movies, TV, magazines etc- but really, beauty is only skin deep.

And that's what I love about U2. It's their inner beauty that gives them that glow, especially as they get older!

Look, they're over forty and for some people in becomes difficult and according to maintain earlier weight as they get older (or for some of us who've given birth, well the guys haven't. Bad comparison) and according to doctors it's actually healthy to weigh a five extra kilos as you get older. I like that they're not slaves to the beauty industry. It's first and foremost their music I like and then fortunately I also think they're great personalities. That's what matters, at least to me.

Nope, you're not fat at all. I've gained almost 20 pounds since I quit gymnastics. It was embarassing (to me) at first, but then I just learned to accept that when you're not working out hard 3 hours a day, you're not going to be as lean  I also usedto bike 20 miles a day, but being at work now full time all summer, I don't have time anymore. So basically, my weight gain is because of my change in lifestyle, and I still consider myself of average weight and that's fine with me. If you're still worried, try finding a good exercise program. Even if exercising doesn't make you loose weight fast, it helps you feel more alert and alive and can raise self-esteem by virtue of being healthier, if not thinner. You might want to ask yourself "Do I want to see a Dr. because I think I might need to loose weight? OR do I want to see a Dr. b/c I feel like I should be more in control of my weight?" If your answer is the first one, maybe you could join a sports club and see a trainer than can help you. If your answer is the second one, if weight is simply a means of control and has nothing to do with how small or big you think you are, then you might be at risk for and eating disorder. But seriously, you are NOT fat!!! :D
