There is a revamped radio station in town

DC 104

104.1 FM or 103.9 on your dials...

AND THEY LOVE U2!

Seriously, they had so many requests for U2 they made an announcement that they could only play them once an hour!

ONCE AN HOUR...most radio stations around here play them ONCE A DAY!

And now they are having a contest for "Best of" give-aways, and while most of us have those, you still get to request your fave song, and everyday they play the most popular song by requests at 2pm!

They call it "U2 @ 2"

Anyway, it's a great station, and they haven't banned any U2 songs, so anything is game!

They play snippets of U2 interviews every once in a while, and one of the DJ's, Sean Sellers, is a HUGE U2 fan, he was hyping everyone up for the Oscars, so I know today he will be so upset!

Anyway...if you live in the DC area give them a shot! If not, you can still enter the contest for the free CD's if you like and request a song while you're at it!

LOL when Mona and Julie(FallDownJulie who used to post here) first started talking about meeting face to face, Mona sent Julie for the first meeting, and once Julie came back alive she was sure I wasn't a "Homicidal Lesbian Serial Killer" (Mona's words exactly LOL) she decided we could all hang out...LOL.
