As I'm sure some of you are aware, this coming weekend is the meeting of the G20 finance ministers in Melbourne. The Make Poverty History Australian chapter are having a big concert on Friday night (17th) in Melbourne at the Sidney Myer music bowl, and once again as I'm sure you're aware, Bono is widely tipped to be there to make a speech. Eddie Vedder from Pearl Jam is also tipped to be there.
While tickets for the bowl have closed, the concert (which has some awesome bands/singers and speakers) is being broadcast live to 3 venues in Vic (Waterfront City Piazza Docklands; The Geelong Arena, Victoria Street, North Geelong; and Kangaroo Flat Community Centre, Browning Street, Kangaroo Flat) and also at Suncorp Piazza, Southbank in Brisbane.
