So I went to see K-Pax. Very good film.

First of all, every single time I saw the poster, I did a double take. Kevin Spacey looks a tad like Bono, on the poster. The dark hair and glasses...anyway, so when I saw the film, all these little things that Prot (Spacey's character) did kept reminding me of Bono. Anyone else who's seen the film will have to back me up:

*Always dressing in black
*That way he kept looking up with blissful wonderment at everything
*Refusing to remove his shades
*The way he charmed everyone and got people to hang on his every word
*He was so calm and cool about everything (excluding the hypno scenes). He acted like EVERYTHING, no matter how mundane or shocking or complicated, was mildly amusing to him.
*His cadence and the way he smiled

Am I the only one that noticed this? Does anyone else think Bono would have made a good Prot?

Are there any other film roles that made you go, "Hey, you know who would have done a GREAT job playing this guy? Adam!/Edge!/Bono!/Larry!"

I've seen the poster a lot (AOL has TONS of ads.. yuck) and every single time I see it out of the corner of my eye, I think,"Hey! An advertisement with Bono?".. and then I look again.

Yeah I'll agree that Bono was a bit similar to Prot, except B is a bit louder, heh. More of a spectacle I guess. Nice observations!

"In the event that I am found dead, hunched over my computer, having apparently choked on something I was eating or drinking, and if PLEBA is on my computer screen at the time of death, please arrest Mona for Murder By Fatally Amusing PLEBA Post."

Yeah, I agree. I went to go to the movies today to see Serendipity and I kept doing double takes at the K-Pax posters. This picture particularily reminds me of it!!
