Oh, that reminds me, I was at work today and there was a textbook about how hugs are theraputic and everyone should get four good hugs a day, and there was this dialogue that was supposed to be like "how to ask for a hug." I copied it down. "Me" = author (a man)
Me: Hi Sam
Sam: Hi Kris
Me: This is sort of hard for me, but there's something I want to talk to you about.
Sam: I get nervous when you start out like that, but okay, go ahead.
Me: I wish you'd hug me more.
Sam: Is that all?
Me: All? That's a lot. You don't hug me enough.
Sam: How often do you hug me?
Me: Hug you? I never thought about it a lot.
Sam: Right, men don't need hugs.
Me: Wait a minute, you know I don't believe that.
Sam: Then why don't you hug me sometime? Why am I always the one who initiates things?
Me: I guess I didn't think about it that way. You're right. And if I want a hug from you, maybe the best way is get it is to hug you.
Sam: I can't wait.
Me: You don't have to. Here I come!

okay, so that has no place in icelady's pic thread, but it made me laugh for a good five minutes

I work at the library.. sort of. In the attic to be exact. All alone, in the dark. I get paid like, $5.50 an hour and I'm only allowed to work 10 hours a week cos it's work-study. When the other libraries on campus clean out their stuff or people donate books, they sned them to me, and I go through them and mark out anyone's name and put them in their respective subject categories which then all go into a book sale in November. I get to keep any books I want. I do other stuff too, but that's the main job.
I really like it, cos I can put on my headphones and sing and dance around like a fool and eat and slack off cos I'm always the only one up there.
