Beyonce Knowles, Bono and Queen and a host of other singing sensations performed at an AIDS benefit concert in South Africa yesterday as it was announced that fans can go on the Net today and download Queen's album to mark World Aids Day.
Forty Thousand fans jammed Cape Town's Green Point stadiums for the three hour concert.The fund raising concert, to help raise awareness and money to fight the disease was organized by former South African President Nelson Mandela.
Queen's Freddie Mercury died of AIDS in 1991.Other performers included Anastacia ,Peter Gabriel and Annie Lennox.The concert will be telecast tomrrow on MTV.Queen fans will be able to download individual songs or entire albums from the 18 titles online at Queen's record label website www.musicfromemi.com
