It's a movie with u2 in it...i've not been fortunate yet to watch it LOL but Larry comes out in it and has one line...."Tragic"

The whole band I think...if i'm not mistaken they show the band during PopMart like rehearsing on stage and stuff

I have it on VHS..have to get it on DVD...LOVE IT because U2 is in it..makes the movie so much more enjoyable ;D
 
I finally saw this last week, thanks to Ali Rose. I liked the movie. Especially because there was U2 content. Basically it's a semi-autobiographical movie by Phil Joanou (the director of R&H) about his first foray into big mainstream movies and also about his up/down relationship with his g/f. Bono shows up in the beginning as himself, just a buddy of this director giving him some advice. Later in the movie, the main character goes to work on filming the POPmart shows, so you see plenty of Popmart action with all the guys. woohoo! And of course the best part is when Bono and Larry are sitting in his hotel room watching him sleep off a drunken binge. Bono says something and Larry utters his one line "Tragic."

All in all...interesting movie. A must see for U2 fans. Make sure your mommie and daddy aren't in the room tho, cuz there's some nudity.

It's well worth watching
 
I didn't see the whole thing, but I liked it. I CRIED at the end, for Bono's sake.

"Booze addled, brain friend pop stars." this movie is feckin awesome. Funny, Dramatic, Bono-riddled, with the added bonus of making anyone with a soul cry their eyes out. Its also very interesting how Jakes sis looks strikingly Ali-like...Apparently its sort of a true story about a guy that made u2 vids or something. Can't decide which I like better between this and MDH. Guess it depends on what mood I'm in, although this one reminds me of my ex*spit*(who found the movie for us quite awhile back) Can't hate him completely though-its his doins that I'm the fanatic that I am today...

i just watched the movie for the first time last night. i loooove the part when Bono and Larry are watching the wedding tape in the room.....Larry leaning on the bed, all-suggestive like..."Tragic" *melt*
i'm a Bono girl and Larry can still make me melt. *sigh*

i have had this post it note on my computer monitor for weeks now, to remind me to see entropy.

all it says is entropy. then i remembered I had to look up something in a Time magazine. so i wrote Time on the same note.

So now my note reads "Entropy Time."

which, taken out of context, means the universe is now ready to dissolve into chaos.
