They were married on June 18th, 2002 in a private ceremony in a courthouse in Dublin.

They were remarried on June 22, 2002 in a Jewish ceremony in the south of France where their families and friends attended. Bono was the best man.

I visited the village that same summer,in august, a few days before the filming of Electrical storm. It's a very beautiful place with very nice views.
