I might as well post some of our Dublin pics here......

I can't remember what the towers are called but they were behind our apartment and we just referred to them as the Pride in the Name of Love towers since they're in the video :sexywink: Anytime we were lost we would look for them.....

Blarney Castle. The top of it was my biggest nightmare. Way too high off the ground for me :tsk:

We were on our roof garden on evening and we looked up and we were seriously under a blood red sky in Dublin. It was so beautiful.

  Don't you just want to go and live there?
And Moher is the most beautiful place. I feel like I've been in that place in another lifetime.:shifty:

Thanks for the pictures

Yes I want to live there. I knew I would love Ireland but I didn't know just how much until I left.

I know I've lived there in another lifetime. My family has told me that I was Irish in a past life since the time I was a little kid. ALL of my interests my entire life have had an Irish connection somehow.

 That's so cool. That's exactly how I feel but I don't think there's someone in my family who can confirm it.
I even have dreams about those places, but it might just be my imagination.

I definitely will have to go and live there...it has to happen. I think I have lived there in another lifetime...seriously how many people at 5 or 6 years old decide that they have to go someplace like that. It had always been a goal/dream of mine to go there after we had to find out where our family descended from and I became fascinated with the fact that most of my ancestors were from Ireland.

You too?
I have to find the time and the opportunity to investigate more about my family tree.

What day did you go to the Cliffs? How did you get there? We took a tour on Rail Tours. It was so great! Expensive but so worth it. We took a train to Limerick to get on a bus, then all over the place on the bus to get to the Cliffs and finally to Galway where we took a train back to Dublin. Our tour guide was so awesome! He was an older dude and just the cutest thing ever. Edmund! It was a 12-13 hour day and there's no way we ever would have been able to do all of that on our own.

 we wanted to go on Tuesday but got to Heuston Station too late!!! That would have been so cool if we would have ended up on the same trip! We heard tons of people all week talking about going to U2 so I'm sure eventually we would have figured it out and met.....

Some crappy night 3 pics... damn you digital zoom! damn you!

*lol* Thanks...
I just knew him from a picture, so I was not sure, whether it really is Guido. (But I was right...)
We wanted to meet in Dublin, but unfortunatley we didn't...
Had to spend the 2nd night in front of the Clarence, so there was no time

Ha, ha! Well, I met his wandering around the Quays looking for HQ and he came along with us to look for it as well as Killiney/Dalkey and bravely Bonavox even though I kept telling him he was running late for his flight! Did he make it to his plane?

ok, more pics... The Zoo TV encore

I'm gonna ask him. At least he is in Germany, so I think he made it...
So it must have been on Sunday morning, I guess. He wrote me an sms to ask to do some 'U2-sightseeing' with him, but I was already at the airport :(
So- hope you had a good time!

Ah- Killiney  It's a beautiful place, isn't it! Went there last year and had a day on the beach!
Luckily I'm going to Ireland in February for 4 months, so I have enough time to go there again

 Hi everyone. Just got back from Ireland last night!!!
What an incredibly beautiful country!!!!

I went to the Dublin 1 show. WOW!!! We had lower Hogan stand seats and the view was breathtaking. Incredible show!

Unfortunately at one point I had to pee so badly that I knew I wouldn't make it through the show. I thought to myself - which song can I possibly sacrifice--- I was about to go during Beautiful Day and my husband stopped me from going. Thank goodness too cuz right after they performed ISHFWILF and WILD HORSES!!! Holy Crap!!! It was amazing!!!

At the "don't you look baaack!" part, it seemed that Bono wouldn't be able to hit it, but the band looped around and came back to the part and he hit it with all the passion and gusto that I imagined he would. What a moment!! I never did get to pee though.

We didn't have tickets for the second show so we wandered around Dublin that night and found ourselves on O'Connell right after the 2nd show ended--we were walking against the massive tide of people leaving the show. I had stepped to one side at one point to let the sea of people pass and guess who walked right by me---Miroslava. LOL!!! I almost reached out to tapped her but my arm would've been torn off by the swift current.

We had dinner at the Clarence one night and visited the U2 wall and also went to Bono's house. :reject: While we were standing across the street from his house, the gate opened and out drove Ali!!! She didn't wave to the crowd there. I don't blame her.

We rented a car after our Dublin weekend and drove to Cashel, Kinsale, Kenmare ( the Ring of Kerry), and then up to Doolin to visit the Burren and Cliffs of Moher.

What an incredible time. :sigh:
