Does anyone know how to get backstage passes to a U2 concert??

Hi...ive been reading about how ppl have been so lucky to get these backstage passes to actuali meet u2! This is most probably a stupid question to ask...but does anyone know how to get or win any? thanks xx

Before I had the connection that I do now, I once sat outside the exit of the backstage area and just asked people who were leaving if they would be willing to give me their pass. A couple were very cool and gave my friend and I their two passes. Unfortunately it didn't get us to where the band were, but we did get backstage!
