Ok, forgive me as I'm not sure where I should be posting this but here seems as good a place as any.

Oakies...my ode to U2


Christmas is coming.

I’m sure that I’ll get fat.

And all I want is Bono

But not that crappy green hat.


Now I’m sure Larry is very hot.

I’m sure that he is hunky

But what I like about Bono

Is that he’s oh so chunky.


And Edge, it seems, is rather cute.

With his whiskers of that I’m sure

But he isn’t who I’d really like

To be knocking at my door.


And Adam seems so gentle

So sweet and oh so nice

But it’s that Beautiful Bono

That I’d have at any price.


So even though it’s not yet here

That time of giving and good cheer

All I've got on my Christmas list

Is a hug from Bono and a great big kiss.....

Aww, Christmas! I can't wait. The only good thing about the weather getting cold is knowing the holidays are coming. After Christmas, winter just puts me in a crappy mood until March.

What fun U2 things are you girls asking for Christmas/Hanukah? I want:

U2 Show
Rattle and Hum on dvd
U2's Propaganda (if they are still selling it)
a HTDAAB poster, if they print one
the Anton Corbin (is their a "j" in that name somewhere?) calendar
the U2 iPod (this is only a fantasy)

My Christmas List:
- U2 concerts tickets (or at least the money for them)
- U2 Show
- Airline tickets to (listed in preference): Boston, New York, or Chicago (or at least the money for them)
- BONO!!!!!!

I don't need to put The Bomb on my list, cuz that will be in my grubby little paws before 1pm EST on the 23rd!!!! Sadly, however, I'll come closest to only getting U2 show -- and that's because I plan on buying the stupid thing myself! (Although my hubby puts up with my, ummm..."habit", he tries not to encourage it too much, . So I'm on my own for tickets & travelling money for those out of state shows I'm planning on!!)
