I just found out that this lovely hunk of a man was in my town recently to promote Hidalgo and I didn't know about it.

The news article in the paper today stated he visited a book shop (in which no one recognized him... of course, you don't expect to see celebs browsing book shops in my town all that much) and stayed at a hotel that's only 20-30 minutes from my house. :sigh:

I am SOOOOOOO bummed I didn't know about it in advance :sad:

He said on one of the TV shows I saw him on last week that he kept the horse that played Hidalgo :wink:

Seriously, I cried at the end..and a few other times too. You can tell how much he loves horses by the way he convincingly conveyed his character's love for Hidalgo.

and thanks for noticing what I had to say about the movie. The thread in LS feels like a private convo that I intruded on. Oh well, I don't know why I bother w/ the rest of this place anyway :shrug:
