Well, we think of Bono as a childlike figure. Soooo...very small children like shiny things. I don't know, maybe I'm not the best person to answer this question.

in most of the caption threads, we found so many pictures where Bono just has this look on his face while there's a shiny object near... so the people here started making shiny captions... it's also because Bono is known to be a little boy by heart
