Caption book, sort of

Well after all the talk about a caption book, I'm making one except the paper will be out of dyed/painted fabric. I printed approximately 130 of what I thought were the funniest or the most imaginative captions. I tried to find at least one caption for every person who sent one in but caption threads #1, 2, and 3 are heavily red Xed (even before the website project), so I'm sure I have missed more than a few people and captions.

Being extremely sensitive of not wanting to embarass anyone (band or PLEBAns), I didn't include the following type of captions: Edge being hair challenged, Larry's phobia with cats, Bono's height insecurity, "gross" body functions (pissing, farting, etc.) and captions featuring PLEBAns (birthday congrats, number of posts congrats, etc.). On the hand, there are plenty of beachball captions, a few superglue, hair gel ones and others. Credit will be given to the writers (just name, no "location" or interference status) and to photographers (if I can find who they are).

I'm hoping to be finish in time for the week of NYC show and somehow give it to the band. The title was going to be "Laughter with Love: U2 captions from fans around the world". But when I saw one of Lemon Grrrrrl's captions that began with "I kid because I love...", I thought what a great title. So with LG's permission, I would like to change it to "We Kid because We Love..."

Although I have no clue what paper made out of dyed/painted fabric looks like.
I would love to see some pictures, when it's done.
But I'm sure it will look amazing!!

I really hope you finish it in time.
'Cause it's gonna be an awful lot of work.
