I love all the pics but black haired Nick is the prettiest baby of all! That was perhaps his shortest lasting hair color but my favorite! I had a small poster from a fan mag of black haired Nick on my wall that stayed up until it disengtigrated! I still have a book of all the band members revealing their likes, dislikes, family, etc. I loved U2 as a teenager but I had it for Duran Duran too!

actually, his shortest lasting hair colour would be either his black with fire engine red bangs (as featured in the "girls on film" video) or his orange hair ("is there something i should know"). he had black hair pretty much for the entire year of 1985, except for the "a view to a kill" video.U2Kitten said:

I forgot about the red bangs! I thought he had the orange hair longer, or more than once. He didn't have the black hair for long enough to satisfy me, I LOVED him with black hair! ( I have a thing for pretty faced, black haired guys- one reason I like Bono
)1985 was when I was really into Duran Duran and got the Nick poster. I got a 45 of Hungry Like the Wolf when it first came out, I loved and still love Rio and all their old videos and I stuck with them until they faded from view, and I liked their 90's 'comeback' stuff too. Yes John is hot too- he looks so young for 42! Did you see him in Strange Frequency the movie on VH-1? Yes I am sick of the white/platinum blond look on Nick and would love a return to black or at least darker hair. Where can I vote? Do they have Nick hair wars there LOL?

He'd look cuter if he grew it out and inch or two- and dyed it BLACK! John's 'do is good, I like him with his natural dark brown/red highlights and no fake bleached streaks, but I don't mind them that much. He's okay!

I PREFER the 80's Duran Duran look! It's so pretty, I love the poofy hair, makeup and the whole look. It's so elegant and pretty. To illustrate this, let me tell you I always thought Mark McGrath was so gross and ugly, hated his slimy look, greasy bleached hair sticking up and grungy billy goats gruff goatee 
but when I saw that video where he was dressed like an 80's Duran type guy, my eyes opened and I said WOW!! He was so much better looking with that long poofy hair and eye liner seriously! Then at the end when they all laughed at the 80's look, I was yelling, why? It looks a helluva lot better than you do
