Actually, in this case Bono wrote the essay. His grammar is good, but not great, but can be "A" material.

It's amazing what Bono will do for you when U2 is on the outskirts of releasing a new album!

I'm trying to do an essay on how Bono as a rockstar is the ideal candidate to bring awareness to social issues, aka AIDS, debt, etc. in Africa but I'm looking for information from his Oprah appearance to include. Can anyone help? (and I keep getting sidetracked looking for it... instead looking at all the cool pics here) oddly enough, the essay is for my Grammar for Writers course!

You can order the transcript of the interview from Oprah's website for like 7 bucks I think. I'm still trying to track someone down that has the interview on video myself sigh: ). Also check out CNN.com...at the bottom it has a special report with Time Mag on the world's 100 most influential people....our boy is listed under the Hero and Icons section! You might get some more info there.

Also, the UPENN graduation speech would be an excellent resource for quotes!

I found out on Monday that I got an A on a commercial I made in my video class that featured "Vertigo." Gotta love U2 and school.
