Atlanta is notorious for the strip clubs and the celebrities they attract...We just had a huge mob strip club go out of business because of tax evaison, prositution, drugs, and mob related activity. All sorts of celebrities and athletes had to testify...I am so proud of my city!! LOL!
My co-worker told me about this outing this morning. I laughed and said I was not surprised. I told her "well, they are men, and they a huge Rock stars, so why wouldn't they go to a strip club!"

I cannot stand strip clubs either. i have almost broken up with two b.f. because of them. I have a huge soapbox that i tend to stand on about stripclubs because i had a cousin screw up her life because she became a stripper. I would hope that this story was a rumor and if it were true that they did not enjoy being there, but for some reason I doubt it. And yeah, the excuses of "they are guys and rock stars" is lame and not much of an excuse. Sorry, if the this thread bumbed any of you out..

In Flanagan's book, I know they went to some clubs in Tokyo, but they spent a lot of time actually talking to the strippers and learning about their lives instead of having lap dances and whatnot. Or at least that's what the book says...

I applaud the fact that I did not hear about Larry and Adam being present. and if I heard that Larry was there, I really would have been pissed off, however if Larry was there I would prefer that he was the one on stage with his shirt buttons popping off, that would be a different story...

i really don't like porn and stuff and it really disturbs me that people are REALLY into stuff like that...but i think there are 2 kinds of people who go to strip clubs
there are the kind of people who go to strip clubs to drink and have fun and hang out with their friends...and there just happens to be naked people around LOL
and then there are the kind of people who go to strip clubs to get off sexually...it's those kind of people who make me feel really icky...
i've been to a strip club, a male one (which is in the basement of a female one and gets no advertisement...grrr) it's in canada, and from my understanding there are different rules regardign full nudity in the US and canada so that the dancers (male and female) were allowed to be completely naked...i thought the whole thing was really quite funny and lame. i went with my mom (yes i know lol) and some other older women, and a few younger ones...we just drank, laughed and had a good time...and then there were the girls who were SO into these dancers, paying for table dances, and thinking that these dancers were inlove with them and stuff....it was ridiculous...
as for bono and edge...i'm going to assume they're part of the group that doesn't make me feel all icky...that they went out to have some fun and checked it out...besides, they really dont need to pay girls to get them off now do they? LOL
