That was an Irish TV talent show called "Teen Time" which was something like the variety shows the Brady Bunch kids went on to try to win in a couple of episodes. U2 did win first place. I'm not sure if they were called U2 yet, or The Hype. I think they had changed their name to U2 but I'm not sure. It was in the spring of 1978, some date it as St. Patrick's Day, others say it was in June. So Bono was either just 18 or almost 18, Adam was 18, Larry and Edge were 16 going on 17!
