Last time I checked Memphis was still there...LMAO...

Memphis is full of U2 memories...that's where they shot Rattle and Hum.

Sun Studios

The hill they slid down next to the Mississippi...they were on the lower side of the bridge, just look for Beale Street and then got to the river.

If you go you MUST MUST MUST go to the Peabody before dawn and beg a guard to let you watch a sunset from the rooftop...then as the sun is rising, listen to heartland on a walkman and get lost in the feeling...I get chills just thinking about it...it's like being there while bono had the inspiration for the song. (the roof is open from 10am-10pm generally, but if you ask nicely they will let you up for a sunrise)

I know someone who visited Red Rocks in Colorado when they went to Denver to catch the Elevation tour there. He got quite a buzz from the experience. I'd love to go there because I first caught the U2 bug from the Red Rocks video. It'd be a heck of a drive from Alabama, however. :sigh: :sigh:

Every time I drive south towards Philly (which is like, twice ) I remember seeing them there..

oh you meant general U2 memories..!

Paradise Club in Boston! :D First club they played :bono:
