Talking about influence... There's a Spanish group called Amaral whose guitarist's style reminds me of Edge's. If I remember rightly, Eva (the singer) said in an interview that when U2 came to Oviedo in 1993 they sold a bass to get money to go to the concert, so I guess they are fans.
