Accidents Caused by U2

I should be doing work now but we all know how that goes. Anyway, I was just wondering if you guys had any stories about u2 causing you to do silly things like trip, spill something, spaz out, etc. I know i've nearly killed myself a couple of times running up/down stairs to hit record on my vcr when they magically appeared on the tv. or i even accidentally recorded the u2 simpsons episode on top of a home video of us kids (shhh!!! my mom doesn't know yet) and just the other day when i was watching tv and eating cereal i had a bit of an accident. i had the remote in one hand and i was pouring some quik in my bowl w/the other. well i changed the channel and "walk on" was playing and my hand sorta spazemd (sp?) and i spilled 1/2 the quik in my bowl and on the table....oh yea and one last thing i remember is that when i first watched the zoo tv sydney tape...u know the part where bono walks out in the suit jacket? well the remote just sorta flew outta my hand and landed on the floor. ok well i've babbled long enough.

i had a feeling i'd tell about this- yes. i have hurt myself and done stupid things, but hey, it was for a good cause! here's the list:
1. the remote control flew up, and hit me on my head
2. i twisted my ankle while running down the stairs- nice combination, eh?
3. i have tripped over my huge coffee table( like i didn't see it there..
4. fell out of my chair a few dozen times
5. walked into a few walls ( i still do, even if it doesn't involve U2)
6. fell out of bed.
i feel silly. hah.

lol...I have a ton
Once when they played on the radio, I was half asleep and scrambled out of bed on all fours to turn it up..and bumped my head on the table :P
Scrambled downstairs to hit record on the VCR, hit my toe, and yelled "SHIT!" really loudly and got in trouble
Kicked the CD player when the CD wouldn't play (defective? :P) and hurt my toe...again..
Can't remember any more, but there's LOTS

I just injured me poor head by slamming it against the fridge which just happens to be near the printer which was printing a nice picture of U2 for my door....stoopid fridge

Ouchie...but there are lots of pretty Bonos circling around my head

And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.

Where's Mona?

I've probably had a few accidents over U2. Nothing drastic, though.

I dig my toes into the sand. The ocean looks like a 1,000 diamonds strewn across a blue plain. I lean against the wind, pretend that I am weightless. And in this moment I am happy... happy.

I wish you were here.

ROFL! Hey, I reSENT that. *shakes fist* *trips over exceptionally long sleeves*

Hey my Born in the USA record keeps falling. Brucie's @$$ is knocking over all me stuff.

last year one day we were having mass at school and the priest said something about Stuck and U2 and whatnot and I called out "yeah Bono!" about 12 decibels louder than necessarry. Catholic schools don't like that kind of thing!

Also we were having a fire drill the first week of school and on the way out --not knowing I was passing the disciplinarian lady -- I screamed to one of my friends (the alarm was loud!) THE FIRE ALARM WENT OFF BECAUSE MY BONO PICTURES ARE SO HOT and halfway through my proclomation the buzzing stopped and more ppl than needed heard. time in English class I go "What's that movie where Jude Law's naked?" ALSO too loud. *sigh*

Back to U2:
at lunch one day I was telling a friend about all the threads about Bono's pants and the contents thereof and she goes "That's porn! Stop looking at porn!" to which I replied -- also a million decibels too loudly "BONO AND I ARE NOT PORN STARS....YET!" *there was a definite breeze as ppl from far away as three tables over all turned their heads* *hide* I need to control myself

Some day last semester in school I was doing my MacPhisto impression walking down the hallway with some friends on our way to an assembly. I was calling the duchess of wales or whatever and singing 'i just called to say I love you' and on "you" I pointed in a random direction and there stood the janitor I am in love with! I ran!

I prance around school saying
"Ay, ey wint down t' Dooblin en ey wint to th' pub, en ey haad me a pint. En thin ey wint to slane castle and haad me sum fish n chiips. Ay." sheesh. Moofins! bootins!

In art class last semester we were talking about radio jingles and the bennegan's one came on where the irish guy is all

as I put on my daily attire
I got my button flys out of the dryer
next thing you know I'm a wealthy man of means
I found 10 bucks in the pocket of my jeans

and we were singing and I said "Whenever I try my irish accent i sound like a pirate. French accent, too." Everyone found that HILARIOUS and forced me to do a Bono monologue. a bonologue. *sigh* My teacher called me a magpie.

O. I have these archived.

I've almost gotten whiplash from hearing them on TV behind me swinging around to look.

i've had a few of those moments, most of which i do not care to disclose
but just last weekend, on easter sunday, i was in church with my family, and one of the readings had the line "you too" in it, and i started giggling uncontrollably. i could not settle down for anything
