LOL maddie...i'm sure he does have eye sight probs cos ever since he was little he's been wearing glasses...I think bono has to wear them now cos he's been wearing them almost all the time so his eyes get used to that...Maybe I should ask him...if I meet them today i'm going to ask Bono if I can try his shades on *snort* Let's see what he tells me

Uh huh, *nods head in agreement* I can attest to that.

I had to start wearing glasses as a junior in high school because I couldn't read the notes my teachers were giving on the overheads. I always ended up in the back (alphabetical order and having a last name that starts with W....) and had to scrunch my eyes to see. I kept getting bad headaches all the time, too. Well, it was discovered I have astygmatism (however it's spelled) in both eyes. I have to get a new prescription about every year and a half to two years. This bites because my dad didn't start wearing glasses until he was in his 40s... but he's farsighted. I would go nuts if I were farsighted. At least being nearsighted I can see things up close.

I now have tons of gray hair (thanks dad, again) and have to wear glasses every day. Am thinking of contacts, though.

well...here's my logic (however twisted it is)...

nearsighted means we can't see far away

can't see far away means we need to be close to things we want to see

things we want to see means members *giggle* of u2

thus pleba = close to u2 members *giggle again*

and this is why i need mental hospitalization
