first let me say I am ALL FOR a meeting about the right arm. 100%.

second, the bass is going great!!! I have been reading tab mostly in the beginning, and of course some of the songs are a snap to pick up and play along with the boys, like WOWY, WTSHNN, etc.

I like playing "If God Will Send..." a lot, and a few others.

But as for really learning, I have semi-mastered a blues progression (learned from a video) and I am slowly, slowly, learning to play by reading real music and not tab.

I do know how to read music, it's just remembering which frets are which notes, and stretching my poor fingers!!

speaking of this, anyone have any U2 bass sheet music they want to hook me up with? I'll pay for it, or copies of it, or shipping and handling...

thanks for asking, AM! I'm sure you didn't want this much info, but I'm a little over-excited when it comes to my new passion.

I recently had a dream that U2 was touring but not coming to Seattle and I couldn't travel, but come other band was coming and Larry and Adam would be 'special guests'. I thought this was really great news, and told a bunch of people about it, but they didn't know what the big deal was.
