Your best advice for surviving GA?

I'm doing GA for the first time this Saturday!!! I'm not planning on really camping out, I will probably only get in line around noon.

I need some advice from you GA veterans:

What should I bring?

What should I expect?

What are truly the odds of geting into the ellipse?
