"Yahweh" should have been the closer for this tour...

Was a full electric, including bridge version not possible to perform?

The acoustic version is very nice, but I still can't help but think it would have been like "Walk On" sending the concert off in a positive, spiritual note...

[American setlist]

City Of Blinding Lights
Vertigo
All Because Of You
Elevation
Gloria
Beautiful Day
I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For
Original Of The Species
Miracle Drug
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own
Love And Peace Or Else
Sunday Bloody Sunday
Bullet The Blue Sky
Miss Sarajevo
Pride (In The Name Of Love)
Where The Streets Have No Name
One

Zoo Station
The Fly
Mysterious Ways
With Or Without You

Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of (full electric)
Original Of The Species
Yahweh

Agree, disagree with the transition?

I agree.

"40" depresses me.

An electric version of "Yahweh" would have been cool.

Those last moments of "Walk On" during the Elevation Tour, when Bono is yelling "Thank You!" to the cheering crowd -- I'll never forget it.

PS. "ABOY" in third -->

A Little of column A and B. (I Agree and Disagree)

I was toying around that the final encore could be

All Because Of You
Kite (Acoustic)
"40"

I think Kite would work will with extending the song (repeating the last bit) Whilst playing his acoustic guitar...Although the transition from ABOY may not work so well.........

and Yahweh played earlier in the setlist (as it was done couple of times)

Sometimes
Yahweh
Love And Peace

I like your setlist but I think some people would complain about the Original of the Species X2 the way they do about VertigoX2

I think they should play OOTS x 3.

One electric version, one acoustic version, and one a capella version, with massive crowd involvement.

Or just play it nonstop for 25 minutes, like DMB!

OOTS

ill second the homer quote :D

Yahweh between Sometimes and Love and Peace was pretty sweet.

I dunno if I'd like it as a closer

it was pretty sweet when they did Yahweh -> Bad/40 though

Yahweh is helped by the acoustic version.... a lot better.

 I don't like Yahweh much on the album. I usually skip it because it's so painful, actually. Edge's singing at the end in the live versions make it so much better, as well as the lack of synthesizers.

Synthesizers

It's funny someone else posted this...my better half and I were just talking about this on Saturday during a 3 hour car ride to the middle of nowhere(central KS.). We both agreed Yahweh would have been the perfect closer for the show instead of 40. The Vertigo closer was ok for some shows but I'd always choose to hear another u2 song vs. the same song twice.

40's been overused in 80s and a Vertigo tour show should end with a Bomb song. Full band too, don't see why they didn't do it.

Electrical Storm being played at all would've been amazing

and i really like Original -> Yahweh -> Electrical Storm

I had been working with this completely fictional setlist with songs from the tour (+ electrical storm) wuddya think?

1 // Love and Peace or Else
2 // Vertigo / Stories for Boys (snippet)
3 // The Electric Co. / Bullet With Butterfly Wings (snippet) / I Can See for Miles (snippet)
4 // Gone
5 // Until the End of the World
6 // The Wanderer
7 // City of Blinding Lights
8 // Electrical Storm
9 // The First Time
10 // Sometimes You Can't Make It on Your Own / No Regrets (snippet)
11 // Original of the Species
12 // Mysterious Ways / Sexual Healing (snippet)
13 // All I Want is You
14 // Bad / Sympathy for the Devil (snippet) Hey Jude (snippet) / Fly Like an Eagle (snippet)
15 // Running to Stand Still / MLK (snippet)
16 // Where the Streets Have No Name

19 // Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses
20 // One

21 // Beautiful Day / Across the Universe (snippet)
22 // Stuck in a Moment That You Can't Get Out Of
23 // Yahweh

Cut Bad put Please , out Running in Miss Sarajevo , out The Wanderer put Real thing , also Wild Horses out , UltraViolet in , yeah also include ABOY . Now it would work for me.

5 // Gone
6 // Until the End of the World

What a set......

ok, forgot ABOY, and it was hard to pick RtSS over Sarajevo, but I love Running more

EBTTRT, Please and UltraViolet weren't played this tour, that's why they weren't there, but still a sweet setlist
