Why two support acts at European leg...
Does anybody know why we have two groups as support in Europe? What's the reason for that?

Aren't some of these shows outdoor stadium shows? Usually they start a little earlier and so two opening bands isn't uncommon then. I remember seeing them on Joshua Tree and Zoo TV Tours outdoors, and they always had two opening acts.

simply because its in a stadium, they need to open the gates pretty early to let 50,000 fans in, so rather than have the ones already in standing getting bored and irratated, they have 2 support acts

I remember Joshua Tree at Edinburgh and there were quite a few support acts:- The Pogues, Runrig, Hue & Cry to name a few but we were there from early afternoon and it was great although one side of my face was burnt from the sun haha Im hoping Hampden, Glasgow has another support act along with Interpol to make it a day to remember.
