iv noticed the guitar The Edge uses in The Fly (wow, The Edge and The fly )m is a black guitar with the Vertigo circles on it. im wondering,

why does he use it in a song that wasnt off HTDAAB, but uses it on a song off whatever album it is (i forgot!)

if its a vertigo guitar it should be used on Vertigo/COBL/SYCMIOYO/OOTS/LAPOE etc etc.

dont you think that would make sense?

Well, it's an acoustic guitar, a Variax, which is why he doesn't use it for HTDAAB songs. He uses the same model, with a different look, for LAPOE, which I agree doesn't make sense. But the guitars he uses for HTDAAB songs aren't nearly as able to be painted and all. I do think the style he uses for The Fly would make more sense with LAPOE, though.

Yeah, what I'm wondering is why they don't use a guitar with a Joshua Tree motif when they play WTSHNN and WOWY. Any songs from ATYCLB should be played only on a suitcase/heart motif'd guitar.

Vertigo guitar gor LAPOE
a heart shaped one for Elevation or BD
a Africa shaped one for, well, One
a acoustic looking one for JT era songs
etc etc

a guitar for the song form that particular era!

that or guitars that are specific to the location they are playing that night:

new york's skyline
san francisco's bridge
philadelphia's sports fans jumping into the schuylkill river

1- Same model , been discussed before
2- Well the SG kinda looks in a way with a heart For BD , I wouldn't change the Explorer
3- Try to find one
4- Go back to old zoo days , when acoustic were played electrically
