take it up with Axver, this is his website

http://www.u2-vertigo-tour.com/all-songnames.html

ha ha. these people. after getting vertigo boots so easy you think someones gonna send you an email within seconds....

dont actually have them mp3, only old cassettes
they did a phase in the uk leg of zooropa tour where babyface zooropa numb and stay were played. never really worked out in my opinion.
but STAY is a live classic

the first time:

if you have the tapes listen, it was only a snippet. one verse
i never consider this to be a live rendition of a song, even more so when the edge is just kickin out the riff to bad, like norwegian wood, ruby tuesday 40 etc etc .

yeah i always thought it was snippeted too

this could be one spot where Axver's website is wrong

usually he is very good about distinguishing between snippets and full songs

the thing about snippets really annoys me.
i dont like to see setlists loaded up with them, or especially recordings split on them. this tour has seen e.g.
bullet - hands that built - johnny comes marching
then some website gets loaded up with stupid stats like johnny comes..... was played 77 times on vertigo tour. it distorts all the information.

Seriously - that is the one great thing about being here in Australia - when we got the Zoomerang Tour it was very Zooropa friendly - Stay, Lemon, Numb, Daddy'd Gonna Pay.... brilliant. I would have loved Zooropa though - but hey, if they couldnt get it to work... no biggy.
