Question about Streets.

When Bono does his African singing, is he ever actually saying something, just in another language, or is it mumbo jumbo?

If it is the latter, that seems a bit racist to me, like if I went around saying 'ching chong china' pretending I was an Asian. That would be frowned upon surely?

I hope he's saying something.

And while we're on the topic of Streets, I just downloaded the Human Rights segue into Streets that was with the audio of Fast Cars from another thread. Was this an edit or did U2 play a set like this and I missed it? I ask because if it was an edit it was a decent one because I heard none of the crowd singing from the arse end of Pride. This is an idea I think works well and should happen as a staple, dropping Pride. A much punchier use of the annoying African theme too.
