No, no, no. It's actually not that bad. I sat behind the stage for a few Elevation shows. It was a little hard to hear what Bono was saying but the sound is decent.
 
It was indeed a little harder to hear the speeches behind the stage, but the music itself was great.

It also depends on the arena. the Fleet Center, for example, always has pretty terrible sound.
 
I just hooked my powerbook up to my Stereo :huh:

it really does sound like some sort of really painful torture now

perhaps this is my new Halloween mix to scare the children

At least we know what song it is. This still rocks so much more than a setlist party with no sound!
