So I got an update email from U2.com last night, and the last sentence was:

"In the next few days we have an interview with Chris Blackwell, founder of Island Records - and he makes a pretty interesting offer to U2.Com subscribers."

More tickets? Badly-wanted DVDs? Any ideas?

He was joking.

The special offer is a free Anton Corbijn Book if you book 5 nights at one of Chris Blackwell's hotels in Jaimaica or Bahamas.

I get the feeling that if you can afford $500 or $600 a night for a room you could probably just go out and buy the book.

How about if it's the other way around--I'll buy the book for $75 on Amazon, and I get 5 nights in the Bahamas free? Fruity umbrella drinks not included, of course.
