Okay, I was one of the losers that participated in the presale. I had all kinds of problems getting through, and when I finally did about 11:00 that morning the best seats available were Nosebleeds in the back of the stadium. I took them for fear of ending up with nada. But, I found out later that some people had received side seats that would have probably been better.

I hear that Croke is huge. I'm in the back on the top tier. I've been waiting 20 years to see u2 in Ireland. I'm still really really miffed that I paid 40 bucks for the u2.com subscription, and this was the best they could do for me. I'm still going to Dublin on the 24th, but everytime I think about having to buy expensive binoculars so I can see actual figures on the stage I get incredibly bothered. Someone empathize with me. Pleaze....

Okay, I'll top this once....to see if anyone wants to give me loads of sympathy. I'm also wondering if anyone was able to get better tics after the fact.
