It was a rehearsal in Hershey, PA in early August 1992 that people outside the venue could here.

Unfortunately, Acrobat never made a public concert's set.

I grew up about 10 miles from Hershey. That was about three months after I'd fallen in love with U2. My bedroom was wall to wall Bono. My mom refused to let me go to that show because she said I was too young (13). My dad snuck out and tried to get me tickets, but they were sold out.

there's something about hearing a live version of a favorite song for the first time. new inflections and nuances. it's like... i dunno, meeting your best friend's identical twin? no, that's weird. okay, i'll shut up now.

hey axzer, was it played at one of the closed rehersals or at the final semi-public one. i just played my copy and there is a lot of crowd noise screaming at the beggining. is that people yelling outside the stadium.

and two obscure questions for you.

1, what was the snippet of song bono sang often before zoo station on the first leg of zoo tv? it sounded something like "i willalways want you"

2. on the first few nights of zoo tv bono sang a different snippet at the end of one, not the "can you hear us knocking". his voice sounded incredible, but i could never make out what it was.

any ideas?
