For the record, there was some definite audience singing-along goin' on in Chicago on 9/21 during "Wild Horses." In fact, on both nights people were at least reasonably enthusiastic about singing along, when encouraged by Bono, during "The First Time," as well...

Nothing like "Pride" or some shit. But it worked fairly well.

Bono went on record saying that the acoustic single mix of Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses is the more definitive version. It's the one song on Achtung Baby they said they were the least pleased with at the time they released the album.
