U2's opening acts

I've seen, as many of you, U2 a bunch of times with many different opening acts. I have to say that though not a huge Keane fan or anything, they are pretty good for opening for U2. Other bands can be good, but not as opening shows or not really fit with a U2 crowd. Any thoughts?

Thoughts on what - Keane, or U2's chosen opening acts for the tour? Or suggestions on who they should have picked? This is always a lively discussion around here.

i thought keane was great. pj harvey and no doubt were good too. i think they should just stay away from rage/kings of leon...

pj harvey was great! a ton of fun!

kanye west though... yuck! makes me not want to go to salt lake city.. will take a lot to keep me away though!

Kanye will be better than you think!

yeah well just thoughts in general. Keane or other bands. i have to say that although I love PJ and it was fun,but i dont know if it was the best for opening for U2- many people in the heart didnt know her (except for the fish guy) and were not that enthused. No doubt was good, but again they should just do their own show. Keane seemed like it was just right for a U2 opening act.

Opening Act for PhillY?

I have stayed off the board for a while, I didn't want to spoil the setlist for MSG. Who is opening in Philly?

Keane was awesome in NYC, I have seen the boys a bunch and never heard an applause like Keane received.

Thanks
