to everyone, I feel the same, sad and confused.
My prayers are with all of U2 right now, I hope everything is going to ok.

that story.

But... but... you misspelled "you're". Would a psychic have known that you'd make this mistake and purposely have made a mistake herself just to call you out on your mistake? Oooh...scary.
Halup said:Even though everything is in the rumor stage at this point, ever since I read that link to the Hot Press message board where the person in Ireland said The Edge's daughter has been diagnosed with cancer or leukemia, it sadly seemed to be a more plausible reason than what Paul McGuinness has stated.
We may never know the exact reason and in reality, if it truly is a family illness, it is not our business to know, unless like with Bono in 2001, they make a point of telling the public.

That's good advice. That's what caused my initial response to you.

You all need to heed Hello Angel's request (if you don't then this thread is going to be closed) We all are dealing with this in many ways and would like to see this discussion continued but without your bickering...... see below....
OK wow. We need to calm down here alot.
Let's not assume anything about anyone's lives here, OK? If you don't like it here, fine, leave. But you're assuming an awful lot about people you do not know, just like we don't know you.
Take me for example. I know you weren't addressing me or even know who I am, but I am on here all day every day. Want to know why? I work at home. I own my own business. This affords me time to keep this site up to date with U2 news and so forth. I enjoy doing it for the fans. I love the fans.
As for people moaning about the delay of the tour - so what? When I heard the tour was delayed I moaned to my boyfriend that the Miami trip we are planned and paid for would have to be cancelled. We never take vacations because our work doesn't allow us the time to. The Miami date had actually been confirmed, and so therefore alot of us planned on that fact.
Let's not turn this into an "oh Americans are such greedy arseholes" argument. We are love U2, hence we are here on a U2 forum and are passionate about this tour. Of course we care about the reasons the tour is being delayed. Let's not attribute it to whatever view you have of the American people. I certainly don't mouth off about how English people might seem to me, you know? Because that is assumption about a huge population of people that I know nothing about.
I don't want to close this thread because people have the right to discuss here. But if it continues to be a shit storm of people attacking other's reactions (however innocuous they are in the whole scheme of things) then I will do so.
U2Fanatic4ever said:I am not attacking you bono's tart... I should of said it would be nice if you guys would try to keep it down or somewhere other than this thread. I know it started here but it has nothing to do with what the thread is about. It is getting personal with you all. I am clearly making a suggestion that others have made. It's for the benefit of others not for one person.

It's not a plausible explanation at all, merely mean-spirited speculation on your part.
