Dallas in costume?

Think the band will do something off the wall in light of Halloween?

Anyone going to Dallas wearing a costume to the show??

Could this be the "dead cowboy" stunt city or what???

No, but they might sing Happy Birthday to Larry...

I went to the Halloween Elevation show in Providence and they did sing happy birthday to Larry. He gave a little bit of a speech. They played Party Girl and Slow Dancing and sprayed some champagne. It should be a pretty good show this time around too.

Yeah Coldplay fans are pretty good at imitating U2 fans...

Well, I'll be the one with the "Happy Early Birthday, Larry" sign then.

But I'm wondering if I ought to make another sign saying something like "Play The Fly for the birthday boy" or something.

It's Larry's (sort of) birthday show, so he ought to choose the encore.

Ugh, I just really want to hear The Fly

I was at the St. Louis Popmart show where MacPhisto made his triumphant return (and US debut).

It was AWESOME.

I was there as well. AWESOME!!!!!! Someone was asking for details:

Some young guy was dressed in full Macphisto gear.
Horns, jacket, pants, white face paint, etc.

Bono pulled him onstage during (I think) Bullet the Blue Sky, the long instrumental bit towards the end.

Anyhow, the coolest part was when he got on stage, they had a "stare down" like an old western movie, when they squared off and Bono is just eyeing this kid, and this kid is playing the part to perfection. Then Bono takes off his hat, the guy takes off his horns, they switch, then the kid gives him the Macphisto jacket and Bono had the horns and the jacket onstage for the firstime since Zoomerang.

I believe it was Bullet but it has been 8 years. A great show, best U2 show I've ever seen.

And yeah, I should be going to Dallas as well for my first Vertigo show. Unless it falls through.

It was totally a spontaneous great moment.
